I ordered, online, a steering wheel for a 2000 Mazda Protege from D&J Auto Parts. I have set up my order with Rene. She took my credit card info, and processed my order. She said i will have it in about 7-10 buisness days. She also said that she will call me back to confirm the shipment, with a tracking number. But no luck, she never called me back. I checked my bank account, and they have taken the money out already, but still no steering wheel.

When i called back, i spoke with rene, and i said that you said that you was going to call me back, and then she said hold on a minute, and kevin gets on the phone. They seem to be passing the buck, and avoiding people, once they get there money. Lets see what happens now?

Wayne Co. resident returns consumers' money after attorney general's investigation

Wayne County Internet seller Kumara Jayasuriya, also known as Jay Smith, has issued 10 consumer refunds totaling $3,649 and is required to comply with Indiana law in all future transactions.

The Wayne Circuit Court approved an agreement that requires the refunds after the attorney general investigated complaints that consumers paid for auto parts and did not receive their items in a timely fashion or received incorrect or defective auto
parts.

The court's order names Smith individually and doing business as D & J Auto Parts, 1234 S. 9th St. in Richmond.

"Internet businesses that offer products online are obligated just like any other merchant to deliver products in a timely manner," Attorney General Steve Carter said. "We will aggressively pursue bad Internet sellers.
It's important that consumers can shop with confidence when they are making online purchases."

The number for D & J Auto Parts was disconnected as of Thursday afternoon.

From 2004 to 2006, Smith would respond to consumers who posted messages on part locator Web sites with offers to sell them
the part they needed. Approximately 20 consumers complained to the attorney general that they either did not receive the product in a timely manner or received a defective product.

Some of the consumer complaints were resolved through refunds, chargebacks or shipment of the items prior to the
court's order.

I work for the company and i know how it runs and this is crap. Kevin is and always will be a jerk just because he didnt do his job while he was with us doesnt mean you should take everything out on the sales REPS who really dont know what your tracking number is and where your part is...so get over it, there are millions of customers every day and they get there parts so one out of millions isnt that bad...stop bad mouthing people on the net!
