For many years, it has been against my better judgement to consider puchasing a Chrysler product.  They are the lowest form of life on the totem pole of American vehicles. Everybody knows that. I left my comfort zone tonight to consider purchasing a Chrysler product, specifically a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. I wanted to get one of these vehicles because it will be a collectors item. I won't go into details here because I am not writing this to adverstise for them.  I went to the Dodge website of www.dodge.com. I selected the "find a dealer" button.

This will be a rare vehicle, so I thought I would contact a few dealers to ask for a quote. Because car dealerships and their Employees are usually lying Scumbags, I expected to be lied to and have several attempts made to rip me off. I just did not know it would start as early as clicking on a dealers website. When you are on any Dodge dealer's website, there is often times a button to click where you can "chat live with the dealership respresentative". Well this is a lie because no matter what dealer website you are on, when you click on the button to speak on live chat with a Representative of that dealer, you are speaking to a marketing company.

You see a window pop up with a picture of someone whome you are NOT speaking to. another misleading element. I wanted to contact three dealerships and leave messages to call me when they get this vehicle in so that I may have a quote. Well you don't get a quote, you get someone who asks for your name and address and phone number and email so this marketing company can sell your information all over the internet to spammers and companies that massively sell spam products. Your information is abused. Nobody needs anything except for your first name and phone number to call you back with a quote that you never get anyways.

Shame on Dodge. I am tired of getting lied to and ripped off from car dealerships and there is never any end to it at DODGE.
