I live in St. Cloud, MN. Recently I was approached by a guy in a van in the very same manner. I was suckered but I did write the guy's plates down just in case. His plates were Illinois and the numbers were 5623 NL. I for one am very pissed off and plan to call in the plates to the cops.

They will approach you at a stop light or in a parking lot, giving you some sort of bull story that they are left over stock, we're moving, closed our store, they fell off a truck. What ever story they tell you it's a lie. The speakers will not work. Even if there are speakers in the cabinet. This scam has been going on for many years and seems to be getting more popular.
