Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We hired Dolphin Moving Systems in June of 2015 to move us from Haines City, Fl., to Michigan. Our contact person was Ernie McNab. He came out and looked things over and gave us a price for our move. The movers came June 22, 2015 and loaded up our furniture. Where it went from there Is a mystery. We did not have a place to live as yet so had to stay in a Hotel in Michigan for 37 days while looking for a permanent home. Dolphin Movers were instructed to move our furniture to Abrams Storage, Grand Blanc, MI/ They did so. All units at Abrams are under personal lock and key. We purchased same from Abrams so had our own lock and key to the storage unit. Dolphin Movers moved our stuff into the storage unit around 6 or 7th of July, 2015. We met them there but could not stay because of the heat and new tar pavement. We were told that if we left we had to sign all these documents (completely illegible) which showed what they took from our home in Haines City, FL. and put in Abrams Storage. The boxes Dolphin packed were not marked so we could not see inside the boxes to find out what was in there. So the little while we stayed, we saw some unwrapped things, most were wrapped in moving blankets. We could not tell what was under the blankets. Therefore we could not tell what was missing and what was there.

On August 1, 2015, we had our personal family move us from Abrams Storage to our new Condo. This is when we discovered what was missing: An upright Kirby Vacuum (the attachments were delivered by the movers), 1/2 of an overstuffed green Lazy Boy (where the other half was I do not know, one Exercise Bike, one 10 ft. ladder, and , at that time, one statue of Our Blessed Mother. (This was later delivered to our condo by Dolphin Movers that November). and many broken dishes and artifacts. We have filed papers with the BBB of Clearwater, Fl., the Business Consumer Alliance, the Attorney General (Pam Bondi), and the FDACS, which is an agriculture complaine dept. headed by Adam Putnam. All of Florida. We did receive one call from the Business Consumer Alliance that Dolphin Movers had offered a token of $400. to make us happy. I refused and said I would settle for no less than $1,000. We have not heard a word since. It will be one full year since we moved into our condo in August. I do believe this company is a bit corrupt and does not fulfill their responsibilities. I have a two inch folder with letters and phone calls to and from Dolphin Movers and people they said to call.
