Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I am a Canadian who ordered a Halloween costume from Doxy lingerie on Sept 24, it was billed to my credit card on Sept 28. The website states that all orders will ship within 7-14 days, so when I emailed the company at around business day 13 to find out the status of my order, and got no response, I emailed them again.

On oct 12, I received a confirmation email that my order had been shipped, and that was all. No tracking # was given to me, or any further information about why my order was taking so long. So I waited until business day 20, and reemailed them to try and get some info on the status of my order. No response again.

Since then I have emailed them 2 more times, still with no response. It is now 2 days before Halloween, and I have no costume, and they have had their money since Sept 28!!! I am totally upset and frustrated that no one from Doxy Lingerie had the courtesy to email me in regards to this matter.

I do see though that someone from the company took the time to respond to a customers complaint on this site........where did they find the time for that? Do not order from this company!!!!!! Terrible!!!

Joelle, I feel for you, as I experienced a similar problem with Jennifer Lutke, the owner of the Doxy Lingerie website (I just posted my harassing experience). She must know there is a serious problem with her company when people all over North America are saying the same thing-that she operates a dishonest business, and consumers aren't getting what they order when she promises to send it out. As she has threatened several people with lawsuits (she pulled the "my husband is a lawyer" line on me), my recommendation to safeguard yourself (and all her future victims), is to DOCUMENT all correspondences b/w you and her, and to use websites like this one and others as a forum to tell your story (so hopefully this doesn't happen to others). As well, stick with the more reputable companies (there's TONS of lingerie websites out there), and beware when there's no direct phone number! I know you're reading this Jennifer , and I hope you'll one day see that what goes around, comes around.

Dear Jen, In response to your rebuttal that my costume was never claimed at customs... for starters I do not pick up my mail at customs, I pick it up from my local post office and every time I checked with them they had nothing for me. I spent the last 2 weeks emailing your company repeatedly to inquire about my costume, and nobody emailed me back to say that it had been returned until I put a complaint on this site. I seems a little convenient after all these weeks of getting nowhere that all of the sudden you decide to tell me that my costume was returned to you. Couldn't we all have saved ourselves a lot of trouble if you'd just emailed me that information weeks ago? As far as your threat of legal action goes, perhaps instead you could offer an apology to me and all the other people that sat around waiting for your company to send us costumes that we ordered and paid for, but never received. We are all now scrambling to find costumes for the 28th and 29th (which is this weekend when the adults go out dressed up....D-Naples in Florida). I think it is a shame that your company ignores it's customers, and then blames them when they are upset because you never informed them about what was going on!

You twit! You can't take "legal action" against anyone here for posting their complaints and/or opinions.

Your order was returned to us stating that you never claimed the package from customs. We have refunded your credit card. This was unneccessary and I expect to see it removed before we take legal action. Thank you.
