Beverly Hills, CA - Dr. Jay Calvert, who has a plastic surgery practice in Beverly Hills, is seeking more than $1 million in damages for libel and defamation against posters of online reviews, some of whom are anonymous.
The lawsuits have been filed in Los Angeles Superior Court: Case # BC453946 and Case # BC453888.
Dr. Calvert has also filed two lawsuits in Arizona Superior Court: Case #CV2011-014893 and Case #CV2011-014894.
Dr. Calverts lawsuits are already having a chilling effect on free speech. Many negative reviews for Dr. Calvert have been removed since the lawsuit was filed, including numerous allegations of fraud.

In California, maximum damages for libel is one hundred thousand. There is time limit of 12 months. I examined proofs provide on this website & they are true and authentic. Best wishes to the Victims.
