The Beverly Hills Hair Restoration Center’s Founder and Medical Director, Dr. Payam John Kahen has informed us that his personal philosophy is, to “offer world class results and care for all patients and their families so they know they are getting the best in hair restoration and patient care.”

When a potential patient comes in, Dr. Kahen’s office requires them to complete their standard pretreatment process. Dr. Kahen described this process; “Once they come in they fill out a long questionnaire about their health, and their goals and expectations about hair loss. We go through a power point presentation to go over the whole procedure from A to Z. We talk to them about everything they need to know including all of the complications that could happen before and after the procedure. Then, I come in and talk to them and give them before and after pictures, draw on their hair line, and then send them home to think about what they want to do.”

Beverly Hills Hair Restoration aims to advise the best treatment plans for patients. They speak with patients individually and explain to them what they should expect from their chosen procedure. If a patient has unachievable goals about the outcome of a procedure, Dr. Kahen will tell them what he is realistically able to achieve. Dr. Kahen is the founder and medical director of Beverly Hills Hair Restoration World Class. He received his undergraduate degrees at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and then later attended Ross School of Medicine where he received his M.D. degree.

His internship and General Surgery residency were performed at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York, as well as Beth Israel Hospital. His training also consists of Organ Transplant Surgery at New York University (NYU). He currently offers his services as a hair restoration surgeon to patients from around the world who are interested in achieving superior hair transplant results using his custom edge blade technique and ultra-refined follicular unit transplant.

Dr. Kahen has performed thousands of modern hair transplant procedures. His clients are from all around the world including celebrities and princes of Saudi.

In order to provide great customer service for patients, Dr. John Kahen personally takes time to meet with each client. When patients come in, they go over goals and expectations for the process and what the realistic outcome is that they can expect from the procedure.

Their office takes certain measures to follow up with customers after treatment. They call patients 10 days after their procedure to make sure they are satisfied with the results. Then, they also have patients come in for a follow up ten days after the surgery, again after six months, and then for a last time after one year. After the follow up, if the patient decides that they would like to add more density to their hair, they will consult with Dr. Kahen about scheduling another procedure.

If a patient has a complaint, their office will call them to come in and discuss it in person. If a patient is unhappy with a procedure, they are offered a complimentary procedure. They explained that every procedure is different and while 99% of the time, the hair grows, there is a 1% that it will not. They factor this into their practice, and compensate for it.
