DRD Motor Trade Sold a 1983 911 SC Sacramento CA California
I do not relize he knew that the engine was bad. I can't imange that with all the cars he has sold successfully that he would have sold or rigged this one just to unload it. However unfortanly after driving the car from the house to the garage it devolpe a major leak, it smoked so bad I had to get the window downs. His response was that it ran fine when it left, I bought AS-IS and these cars or known to link from time to time. Again unfortanlity this was not the case. The engine is in the shop and is requiring a full rebuild. I do not believe that the dealer believes how bad the motor was and was ripped off by the person he bought it from. The shop has verified and documented the condition of the engine which had 6 miles on it from the time it was delivered to me and when it was delivered to the shop. Yes, I was ripped off and whether he had done this knowing it was bad or simply by a honest mistake remains to be known. I do not expect to get this resolved, the dealers does indeed offer great cars at a good price so I can do at this point is to warn others to simply inspect the car in person and do not take is word as for the condition of the car.
