Drews Lawn & Snow Service Inept Employees, Careless and RUDE Lockport Illinois
I am visiting a friend and take full responsibility for this report of what I saw the employees of this company do. My friend and I were sitting on her patio of a condo neighborhood early in the morning and she noted we would not be able to stay outside due to the company working. There were many large riding mowers that were extremely noisey going back over the same area four or five times. Then once again. Then they dump the clippings in the street near her building. She ran in to close all the windows even though it was wonderful weather and a cool breeze. The dirt and debris was a constant, with this crew.
Then the employees came with weed wackers. For what seemed like hours. Yes it is quite a large area, there were many crew members all given lawn devices to operate. In my opinion, they worked very slowly. As if to just "fill up time."
I witnessed two crew members blowing maple seeds OFF of the street and ONTO the home owners cars - windows wide open. Onto the driveways...sidewalks and yes, all over my friends patio that she had taken much time to meticulously clean for my visit. It was a hot mess! It seemed as if this crew person did it intentionally. Blowing the mulch around some day lilies into the direction of her patio and walking away.
Then I witnessed the same crew members actualy blowing papers and a box out of a recycle bin and just walk away leaving things blowing around and not picking up the debris. CLOUDS of dust and seeds all over the entry ways, sidewalks, driveways...etc.
NOT GOOD. Not good at all. Boss man is NOT present. The crew cannot speak English. I once witnessed them stepping on every little green shoot growing as well. This crew is awful. Inept.
It is 7pm and they are STILL here. There goes dinner on the patio. The noise, the dirt, the rudeness of this company all measures up to B A D!
There are many other lawn/snow companies to choose from. Pick the one that has conscientious employees that are respective of the HOME OWNERS property!
From what I have heard, they only answer to the Home Owners Association BOARD members - the actual property owners are not allowed to speak to them.
Even though this is where the home owners LIVE, it didn't matter to this company. They were there to work - if you get in the way...you better watch out for THEM
Choose another please.

I will admit, sometimes emotions get the best of people.
There is definitely room for improvement with this crew at this company. They should not be allowed to do what ever they want to others. It reflects on the company every minute they are working. They are driving the trucks with the owner's name on them. They should be shown common courtesy and how to be polite to others.
That's all I wish for them. To respect those people that live in the neighborhoods they work in. Not to stand on private patios using equipment for what seems like too long - until the owners can smell the exhaust in their homes. Really. There should be NO need to place a foot on a homeowners patio. Never.
Best of luck to you. Improvements are needed.

Come on! Don't be sooo harsh. Ok, I am on my patio at 1030 am having some tea ... Whoops it's TUESDAY!! Here they come...*runs inside to wait it out.
First the huge mowers...hey, are they doing TOWN property? Yes they ARE! FAIL. One pass by patio, TWO pass by patio...THREE? WAIT FOUR?!!? Really? FOUR PASSES to mow two inches of sparse grass that won't grow BECAUSE OF SHADE???
WEED whacker man is next. Nothing here to really whack so I am standing by the window watching him shred the green of the daylilies!!!! TO SHREDS. Not nice. They look terrible now.
Oh, this IS sad. Looks bad, too.
It is afternoon and I have worked very hard on the patio, I would like to have lunch out there. It is a gorgeous day and the mortgage is quite HIGH here...NOPE. No can do...for here comes Leaf Blower Guy.
It is true. He is blowing mulch and maple seeds ONTO my freshly swept patio and walking away. His job is done. I see him blowing papers OUT of the recycle bins and leaving them to blow around the property.
We pay property taxes. These homes are not free. Then there is a certain amount EACH month to a governing body that is paying HUGE bucks for this inept company. This " lawn " place expected the home owners to water the grass seeds in the blankets last year not knowing the governing body removed the hoses due to she not wanting homeowners washing cars...what?
The rusty pointy metal pins are STILL in the dirt on the lawns, yards, etc for children, adults and pets to possibly step on and be injured. Some of the pins are bent and sticking points up. Barely visible. Rusty. OUCH. Will Drews Lawn Pay for doctor bills for the poor person - maybe a toddler - that gets one of these pins stuck in their tiny feet?
Like it has been reported. This compay doesn't realize people - humans LIVE on this property. Ok. today it is THURSDAY and here they come with toxic chemics. All over my patio *which destroys wood floors. No warnings. No heads up. What they can't put they dry stuff on, they have wet. Great.
What is in that chemical? Smells awful. I would have liked coffee outside today - BUT I COULD NOT because of Drew's Five Year plan. The grass he planted last year still is NOT growing. The plants are shredded. He cut healthy shrubs - just in "some" areas down to stubs. No privacy near patios now.
It is awful. And sad. When will this stop? Can't even go outside because of the overwhelming stench of chemicals. The crew that is applying the toxins have face masks on!! Oh God. Please help us.
