Their interest rate is high only because you have bad credit. Or put more descriptively, you gave yourself bad credit. Don't want to be a subprime customer...don't destroy your credit. None of the side issues you raise have any bearing on this either. Drive Time didn't do these things either. The time to decide a car costs too much is BEFORE you sign the contract. Nobody forced you to buy from them. You DECIDED to pay those prices and their "quality". Good credit is a resource to have and to protect. If anyone else is affected by your bad credit, you should have considered that when you decided to not pay your bills on time which gave you bad credit. And no, I don't work for for them.
