Alright, I know that there are many reports, good and bad, but here is some truth.

1) there is rarely any truth, alot of deception and manipulation, it seems like a get rich quick seem and sounds great- but remember theres a reason why youve never heard of them before now, theyre not a "household name"- you must understand this

2) there are many different aspects of the company, such as: warehousing/distributing, marketing- door to door residential selling what looks like school fundraisers(good deals- but hard to sell), communications- business door to door sales of telecommunications service, trash can service, visa/mastercard merchant, etc(this tends to pay more than the residential side)

3) the local branch you interview with they will promote how far reaching ds-max/ cydcor is with dealing with fortune 500 companies like disney, att, dominos, etc

4) you will have 3 interviews most likely: a- basic interview with manager to see if you are ambtious, independent, and easily manipulated/ b- day of observation where one of the "leaders" takes you on a day of door to door sales, pays for your lunch, and explains how this pyramid scheme isnt a pyramid because you dont lose the money you make but dsmax/cydcor pays them for the work you did(if you dont understand, they will explain it)/c- if you meet their requirements, you get hired on the spot or one of the "leaders"(the one you went out with)will call you that night and congratulate you and will want you to start IMMEDIATELY

5) there are extremely long hours, coworkers all bunked up together, people dating the managers/each other, corruptions, motivational speeches, goals, lot of personal money spent(esp. on gas and food),constant and i mean constant turnover and recruiting, lots of "no's" from biz/peoeple (no solicitation),road trips that help you supposedly grow, conferences, etc.

6) there are very, very few people that are succesful- it's a combination of luck and skill and the will to carry on, but don't carry on so much that your credit goes bad because more than likely you will struggle since you dont get your first paycheck for a month

7) JUICE- Join Us In Creating Excitent...a company magazine and motto... you must always recreate the excitement since it dies with the high turnover

8) ask questions, lots of them- what's is your interviewers name? how old are they? how did they get started? do they have a business card? how neat are there cars? do they room withother coworkers? how long have they worked there? ASK!ASK!ASK!

9) for credibility- i did work for cycor in the communications side for almost a year, i racked up $3500 in debt because its 100% commision- hard work will only get you so far- if you dont have faith in what ive said- just read the hundreds of other quotes

10) good luck- if you choose to pursue this near elusive dream, be careful and go slowly- dont jump right into it and think that this will be your career- use your head and think!

Guys I worked for Cydcor or Madison Marketing Gp in DC, they were the number 1 office in the country in 2003, I made over 1000 a week a few times, then I made 80 one week. I wasted 4 months of my life at that place, every organization is the same Even the best one is a joke, complete scam with loser individuals making some quick money, 2000 people are interview a year at our company, ethical or should I ask does this portray a good image. I stupidly gave up an opportunity to make 6 figures a year for this company. Luckily I quit and got my old 6 figure job back but please dont listen to anyone who gives you the american dream speech!!

Todd, I know what you're saying. I guess I just think that if you are going to post a complaint on here that you should include as much detail as possible. Anyway, the consequences that you speak of will hopefully only affect the people I make posts about...not me. C-ya

it's not what you say it is who you say it about

Jay, I like your reports. I have read many of them. Keep up the good work. If you want to mention specific people in your writing and you are willing to face the consequences, by all means do. I just mean that there is a big difference between mentioning a specific person and company. You don't know s's situation. Neither do I for that matter. I would rather applaud s for adding testimony than making s feel uncomfortable about saying something about a specific person.

Todd, I know there are more offices in Raleigh, I mentioned that in my post. My point was that if you call out an office a potential employee will have a better chance of getting some real info on these people and not going back. Also, are you saying I don't put good warnings here on the ROR? What did you mean by that?

Come on J. At least S posted some good warnings! That S's business to call out a former employer on the internet. Besides, there are probable several offices in Raleigh.

Cydcor is honest

I think Cydcor is an honest organization. The managers are hardworking and dedicated individuals. They would never scam, cheat or lie to anyone.

I thought the company was fishy after the first interview. After reading these reports I found out a manager was a twice convicted felon. Check out this site to see more. http://wcca.wicourts.gov/index.xsl I'm out

Hey "S"... Pretty much everyone who comes to this site know's what the deal is with the interview process and how shady everyone in this company is. How about you tell us who you worked for in Raleigh. Was it Candice Keith? Why don't you give an address so others don't go interview there and potentially ruin their lives. This site is a way to inform the sceptical and uninformed as well as help those who have been hurt by Cydcor vent their frustrations and tell their story. So give it up "S". Who did you work for? CK & Associates is the only office I know of in Raleigh. I am sure there are others but I don't know their names. Anyway, I just think you should be a bit less vague about who you worked for. It's not like they will come after you. If you dusted the manager dosn't give a s**t. He/she probably did 20 interviews the week you left. Perhaps by letting people know who you worked for you could help out someone who dosn't know what we know. That's all...just a thought.
