Mr. Arpio treats inmates like animals! someone stole money off my husband books. when he presented the receits they did not care. its happening to other inmates who dnt speak english an cant stand up for them selves.

they also take them to court put them n a cell that is temp of 45 weather an let them freeze with no jackets it is inhuman arpio treats animals better. yes they have done aome thing wrong an they're payin the price. i worked in a prison for ten years an inmates were not treated this way ive never seen such a thing!

last time I checked one is ''innocent until proven guilty''
- Someone can be in jail for many reasons.  They could have been arrested for Drunk Driving, Domestic Violence, Theft..etc and are being held there until they can either "make bail" or have their trial.  There are also people who have been convicted of a crime but not yet sentenced and are there because they can no longer be out on bail.  There are also people who have been arrested, convicted, and sentenced and are serving their time in the local jail.

But no one here ever said that this guy was guilty of anything.  However, since it was brought up.  The original "RipOff" is that this guy had money stolen "off of his books".   If the OP means "his account" we can figure that he has been in jail for a while, at least long enough to even need an account.  This narrows down the reasons why he was still in jail..and I will leave it at that.

But this also brings up a question.  Just how was this money stolen from "his books"?

Of course if the OP really means that this guy had money on top of a book then he was just plain stupid for leaving money out like that.

Also with how the OP writes this report I wonder in what capacity they "worked" in a prison for 10 years.

Swtpeach, since I can't make heads or tails out of what you tried to say, I'll hold my comment.
Why would I contact Arizona's AG, since I live on the east coast. Who knew Sheriff Arpaio had a "geek squad" unless you're hiding from them yourself.

this is to the wanna be english/grammer police FYI: one doesn't "just leave money lying around " in jail as you so eloquently wrote it would have been on or in whichever you prefer his books/account which only jail employees could "allegedly" [ covering my own a** here wouldn't want the Arpio geek squad up on my back] have mishandeled it (for lack of a PC word) One can be to quik to criticize leaving oneself open for the same judgement. file a complaint with the DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE I don't think the'll ignore it w/ all the scandolous stuff currently going on within Arpio's walls.. one last thing gettin into the "he did wrong, therefore he's in jail thingy'' ... last time I checked one is ''innocent until proven guilty''
Kind of sounds like, since he's IN prison, that he HAS been found guilty.
BTW, spell out all the "scandalous stuff" currently going on within Arpio's walls.  We'll be waiting.

GO JOE !!!

Why are all these non-English speaking inmates in jail.

Oh, wait they were just trying to make a good life for themselves by being here illegally and being perfectly good citizens and were just thrown in jail.  How dare they!!

Your Report is a little hard to believe...where in Arizona are jail cells, or anywhere else, at 45 degrees?  Do they just run the air conditioner on full setting to aggravate the inmates?

Who measured the 45 degree cell temperature, you mention?

Does YOUR husband speak English and why is he in jail?  I'm sure he was rail-roaded.

I'm not going to get into the " he did wrong, therefore he's in jail," thingy, but it seems to me that he would have sense enough not to leave money lying around where...you know, some real crooks could steal it. By the way, if he's depending on you to be his English translator, you ain't doin' a real good job at it.

Jus' sayin'.
