Dustin P. Rappaport, Ripoff Tenant skipped out with over $900.00 debt owed to landlord, brags about beating prospective employers drug tests. Frequent job changes, no forwarding address. DO NOT TRUST THIS INDIVIDUAL! He lies and steals. He will promise payment, and skip out. He calls known drug dealers friends. Tucker Or Macon Georgia
Tenant skipped out with over $900.00 debt owed to landlord, brags about beating prospective employers drug tests to avoid being tested positive for drugs. Frequent job changes, no forwarding address. DO NOT TRUST THIS INDIVIDUAL! He lies and steals. He will promise payment, and skip out without even trying to fulfill his obligations. He hangs with known drug dealers and calls them friends.
This 26 year old man and his sister moved into my friends home with full understanding of rental agreements and conditions. He quit his job within a week and started the "give me more time" song. His sister was still paying on time for a while, then she too lagged behind, more sob and hard luck stories. He ate her food, did drugs at night and slept most days. She gave a "one time only" continuance of payment... that never came. By the time they skipped out, his sister had gotten up to date on her part (with help from her mother), but Dustin Rappaport left promising to get a notarized payment plan letter for the $900.00 plus that he owed her.
They rented another apartment in his sisters name (Jennifer Morgan ******, possibly at Highgate Glen on Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker), but would not give out positive information. He presently works at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Tucker Georgia on Hugh Howell Road (with his mother and sister), but by the time this report is filed he may have left there as well.
He skips around jobs. He bragged to her about how he switches urine samples to avoid positive employers drug tests, and he calls several drug dealers "friends". He claimed he would "kill" anyone that turned him in!
He comes across as charming, and quiet. He is pleasant looking. Beware this lazy, lying, thief. He was fully aware of his obligations, and his landlord, my friend, thought the offer of a "payment plan" was more than generous and fair on her part, though HE never had any intentions of honoring the commitment.
My friend was careless in not getting more of a background check or having the necessary paperwork to take this individual to court. The law was fully in his favor while he lived in her home, and although even with the money owed and the drug use-the police would do nothing. Hopefully this report will one day either reach an employer, or someone else he wihes to take advantage of that may benifit from her mistakes.
I understand that many laws protect the renter, but there needs to be protection for the landlord as well. No matter how extensive a background check is, a person with no ethics or sense of honesty will find a way to cheat and steal. Remember the name... DUSTIN P. RAPPAPORT and beware. He drives a red pickup registered to his father in Macon, GA.
