They filed the following to the above Rip-Off Report:
Their email: [email protected]
Their name: Adolph
Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion
Rebuttal:
You'd better contact your credit card issuer IMMEDIATELY and initiate a dispute and charge back. If they told you they'd "issue a check" you can believe that was a stalling tactic to get you off the 'phone. They would've been charged a transaction fee by the card issuer and obviously would be losing money if they refunded by means of a check. Any legitimate
refund (from a legitimate merchant) would've been in the form of a credit to your charge card. Sometimes (actually many times) the deposit on such trips is not refundable. Be sure to make an issue of the fact they DID encourage you to expect a refund; that could also be used as a reason six months has elapsed.
I just hope you conducted this transaction on a charge card, and not a debit card. If this WAS done on a debit card, you're probably out of luck.
Your request:>>>"can you please help me get my money back"<<<. Actually you're in the position to better address this issue yourself as far as getting your money back. If it was consummated on a charge card, climb all over the card issuer. Your charge card issuer will more likely respond to
pressure from one of their card holders as well or better than someone else initiating a complaint about a charge on YOUR card. Jump on 'em!
And good luck!
