Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I purchased a package from e-tour and travel for a special promo that would give me and four other persons a vacation package to Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, for $20.00 per ticket plus a free rental car for 7 days, they pay mileage and all I have to pay for is the gas.  Hotel accomidation at  busch Garden and Universal and if I purchased the hopper package for $120.00 which would give us 2 full days to go to any off the theme parks we didn't see the first day we could see the second day at no additional fee and for purchasing the hopper pass I would recieve the second package at no extra fee for 5 other people including the second car, hotel, tickets, and $100.00 off each and everyones airline tickets.  When I was finally able to get online and check into all of this I found alot of people screaming FRAUD!!! This concerned me and the more I looked the more I realized I had been scammed. I reported the to my bank and they cannot make a stop payment but they are able to try to fight and get my money back which is no guarantee.  I ended up having to cancel the card and getting a new one so they can't take anymore money from the account. I hope this explains everything somewhat so you can understand it.

                Thanks,

While your company may be a "legit" company because it has a store front and a call center and a business id. However the tactics used by the employees are scammy in many cases, I speak from experience.

a sales agent presented her real estate license to us with a very unprofessional name  left to go talk to her family during the presentation and went to smoke every 20 minutes and said the "time clock" of our 90 minutes stopped when she was not presenting to us.  In our case there was information printed from your emails and we followed the instructions and still got MISLED. We were told $199 upfront and it was everything but taxes. Then someone called back and said we owed another $200 for these alleged taxes. When we arrived at rental car guess what MORE taxes, we arrived at the hotel, guess what MORE taxes, when we came to the presentation we asked what was going on to the desk agent who photo copied my credit card, and she said my printer left out information. How could that happen when our printer printed exactly what was sent. it is very nice of you to back your company, but lets be honest, a hotel you claim is 5 star was under construction when we went we were placed on the 13th floor and it smelled like sewage, not really 5 star accomodations to me. The Universal voucher big hassle and you guessed it MORE TAXES! What on Earth did we pay nearly $700 for after all the additional taxes when we could have booked a very similar vacation without visiting your timeshares for about a grand. The tickets were 2 days consecutive to ONE PARK- NO HOPPING and the hotel was outside the park. I can stay on park property for 2 days for about a grand with all taxes included and not deal with all the stress and bs of being lied to. Perhaps if the customer serivce was better on our trip we would have invested but since you guys could not take responsibility for additional taxes, misleading and the very rude desk agent on top of a sales agent who went smoking and chatting it up with her daughter in law or sons girlfriend who was also applying for a job we walked out after a mafia looking guy came out and tried to intimidate us. Never again. That was a long time ago too, and I was going to even picket infront of your office to warn others over the rudeness and misleading comments by staff. Oh and by the way, I did attempt to cancel the charge on my cc within 90 days and months of back and forth and it was not refunded to me becuase your company cried so hard about all this being NON REFUNDABLE. So we took it because it was a waste of money. Give accurate information nothing is guarnteed apparently and just because you want to keep your job doesn't mean so many people in that place do the honest thing. I Sincerely hope all this catches up to etour and travel and NO ONE choses to invest ever again.

I have never had any business with this company other than the endless phone calls from e-tour and travel. They keep calling  and calling! I have asked several time to be removed from their list but 2 weeks later I am still getting at lest 2 calls per day from this bogus company. I wish for this company  to shut down and put out of business. When asked to be removed they seem to get offended and very rude!

I am an employee of E Tour and Travel, and have been for about 7 months. I'd just like to give all of you some information. I saw this comment, which almost made me angry. E Tour and Travel IS a LEGITIMATE company. What we do, is sell discount vacation packages for folks from all around the U.S. to come to Florida. In turn, you must do a 60-90 minute timeshare tour at each (sometimes only 1, depending on the situation) location included in your package.

For those of you not familiar with the law, the length of the tour stated in your printed information packet, is the amount of time you are required to stay at the presentation. Once you have been there for the required time frame, you may leave. You may tell the sales person this, they know it as well. For those who do not know this, when told they must stay longer, you have fallen for a grimey sales tactic.

What is promised to you in your package and online IS WHAT YOU RECIEVE, As long as you follow the TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THIS IS THE LAW. We are not trying to scam you out of your $500. ( Depending on qualification, prices and packages vary.)

YOU MUST ATTEND YOUR MEETING. Obviously, we want the chance to show you the property we are trying to sell you, and thats why we paid all this money to get you to Florida. IF YOU TAKE OUR VACATION AND SKIP THE TOUR, YOU ARE CHARGED FOR THE RENTAL CAR AND ANY TICKETS INCLUDED, POSSIBLY FOR THE ROOMS AS WELL.

YOU MUST ALSO USE YOUR PACKAGE WITHIN THE TIME FRAME ALLOTTED YOU. Please people, the most annoying thing is hearing people tell me that they should get a refund for their $289 for their vacation that they never used that they bought 4 years ago. We have everything on record, many customers we attempt to contact before your package expires to inform you to either travel on it or pay for an extention.

Think about it like this.... if you buy a gallon of milk from your supermarket, and you set it in the fridge and let it spoil, is 711 supposed to refund you for the milk you failed to drink, NO.

I have seen online and in the office that some people have had the misfortune of having their cards run for the funds before they agreed upon the charge. There is no excuse for this, but this is when people get fired.

For those of you unfamiliar with how BOILER ROOMS work... (please google BOILER ROOM if you do not know what this is) The goal of a boiler room is to trick you into saying something on recording, charge your card for a service for an ammount greater than what the service is worth. They then are hoping that you do not report the charge to your bank/ credit card company until after the 90 day CHARGEBACK period. (Google Chargeback)

Anything you purchase online or over the phone is COMPLETELY PROTECTED by your credit card company for 90 days after purchase. (SEE E-COMMERCE ACT of 1997)

I also would like to touch base on people complaining about the services provided. You should realize, you are paying about 10% of the cost of a vacation package, if you were to book these things on your own. That being said, we aren't just paying all of this money out of the goodness of our hearts. When you recieve your itinerary, or are looking online at the TERMS AND CONDITIONS on the website, it is very plainly stated all costs and requirements associated with these discount vacation packages.

Use some common sense people, when someone tells you you are getting 5 Disney 3 Day Park Hopper passes, (About $270 each) You should probably ask where we state this.

Just hope this clears everything up. We are not trying to scam anyone. We are not trying to steal your money and give you nothing. We are selling timeshare. If you don't want timeshare, but you want a VERY CHEAP vacation, do NOT BUY A timeshare, and go to the tour and tell the salesman he is wasting is time, I bought this to go on a cheap vacation. There is nothing they can do.

Please people, be smart. Think about WHY you didn't get what you wanted. Most of the complaints on this site for our company are folks simply not following the rules and expecting us to wait on them hand and foot for their overly generous vacation that they paid a whopping 200 buck for.

Read the rules, look over the details, return the package withing the MONEY BACK GUARUNTEE PERIOD. And STOP BLAMING SOMEONE ELSE FOR YOU BEING DUMB.
