Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My mom and dad, both of whom have had major surgeries in the last year alone, approached E-Z Way Auto Sales in Morganton, NC back in November of this year. They relied on the advertising being sold on their website, located at e-zwayautosales.com. They were negotiating in good faith with an individual there named Matt Trotta, and were on their way to buying a new vehicle. However, that's when everything went wrong. They go over on or around November 30th to buy the vehicle they wanted, which was a Nissan Rogue, advertised on their website, only to discover that it is no longer there. In the course of events, my parents discover that several vehicles, including the one they wanted, were not for sale at the dealership, even though they were prominently featured on their website. As a professional in the sales industry myself, along with my parents, I was horrified to discover this was happening, at a cost of nearly $2,000 in sunken costs to my parents, of which they now walk away with nothing. In my business, you put something not there, you can expect your walking papers and can expect security to escort you forcibly from the building in a heartbeat. Also, my parents filed a complaint with the NC Attorney General, but with no resolution. Then, my parents get a lettet from an attorney representing E-Z Way Auto Sales stating that their case has no merit and is like hitting a housefly with a sledgehammer. The mere fact that this "business" hired an attorney and paid them money to write a letter to people asserting a very minor dispute is beyond ridiculous and is a gross overreaction. They either have too much pride in their so-called reputation, or they have something to hide. Either way, it is very business-like to 1) pretend that they did nothing wrong, and 2) then hire an attorney and pay them money to send a letter over something that is best resolved between the parties aggrieved here. This is exactly why people nowadays have no confidence in what businesses like this one say or proclaim as a part of their business. Bottom line - this business is fundamentally dishonest to the core, and is not worthy of what they proclaim to do. Therefore, in the words of Oliver Cromwell, "In the name of God, sir, Go!" This business needs to be put out of business - period, end of story.
