A few years ago one of my friends went to Earnhardt's Dodge to buy a new Intrepid. He told the salesman he wanted a gold one. Salesman said the only gold one they had was at a sale at the community college, so they drove over there in another Intrepid to get the gold one. My friend noticed that the speedometers in both cars did not work and suspected that they were disconnected. Despite this, my friend made a deal for the gold Intrepid and went to his credit union to get the check. When he got back with the check, the salesman said that they (Earnhardt's) had decided that they wanted another thousand dollars for the car even though they had already signed a sales agreement. Needless to say, my friend left without his Intrepid. He went to another dealer who offered "no-haggle" pricing and bought an indentical car for a thousand less than Earnhardt's original deal. Earnhardt's is a good place to stay away from.
