What this consumer is neglecting to mention is that he signed up for a promotion to recieve free equipment that had already shipped out to him. When signing up for a promo of this nature, there is an $89 pro-rated early cancellation fee. If the customer cancels the account AND refuses the equipment then no cancellation charge is applied. Note for all customers: Were all adults and all know that NOTHING is completely free. Agreements need to be read (you know warrenties, contracts and such) and understood when taken on. When this customer signed up he was told at the time of signing up what the terms of agreement were. Not only was he told but he had the information IN FRONT OF HIM IN PRINT. We at EarthLink make no effort to hide information and in fact when we do find the occasional "bad apple" we crush it immedieately and throw it in the garbage where it belongs. Though our spelling may be atrocious, we provide a good, honest service which I'm proud to be a part of... and no, that isn't the stock options talking either~ LOL
