EBattery ,Batteryrefill, Received prompt payment and product from me with no returns for either Ontario California
Please everyone do not order from this company on-line or in person. The company goes by two names (any others I'm unaware of, yet). The two names they go by are: eBattery and Battery Refill. My horrible experience..
On 12/7/08 I placed an exchange battery order and paid for it in full via Paypal. The payment was retained right away. I followed their instructions and sent my battery to them on 12/16/08 to be exchanged. I confirmed with a rep on the phone on 12/29/08 that they did receive my battery on 12/22/08 and informed me that I would receive my refurbished battery by the end of week 1/9/09. Little did I know that was the last time I would speak with anyone from this business.
Since that time frame, they have not returned any of my emails, nor phone calls. However, my credit card was charged where they seized my funds right away. At present they have several toll-free numbers posted on their website but all are "out of service at this time."
I am very fortunate that I was able to dispute the issue through my credit card company and was reimbursed the funds. However, I am still out a battery. Not to mention, out of my old battery I sent to this business. This company is definitely running a scam. From what I gather, they steal your money and your product, then in turn refurbish your product and resell it again through another source. This particular business (eBattery/batteryrefill.com) appears to be where they simply retain the funds to operate their other 3rd party business.
I repeat do not purchase from them.
