Ebay is a sly one, and it took me many years to realize they are really not on the up-and-up when it comes to seller fees on the invoice

or fairness in issues with customer returns. The main one that caused me to write this report is a blatant fraud charge to my

auto pay credit card on their records for something called Buyer Protection Services. I recognized the amount they charged

my card as a refunded amount I sent a buyer who returned one of my items. I paid for return shipping because the silver bangle bracelet

she purchased could not fit over an abnormally large hand. Buyer could not even get it over the hand. I supplied an accurate diameter.

The rude buyer returned the bracelet on my supplied label and when I refunded her complete payment on PayPal. However, Ebay did not

see my PayPal refund (conveniently) and asked me to send proof with a screenshot of the refund on PayPal. I emailed the screenshot, posted

it on their site, then posted teh screenshot on FLIKCR as they requested because they kept saying they could not open the jpeg image

of the screenshot. Then they sent me an email saying they would refund the buyer if I did not send her the refund. I spent much time

calling and emailing Ebay to say I already refunded, yet they sent the buyer a duplicate refund and charge my credit card for the duplicate

refund. I called my credit card company and disputed this charge as fraud and got a replacement credit card so Ebay would no longer have

access to auto pay. When I called Ebay about this, they claimed there was no record of the charge, that the phone numbers on the payment

note on my credit card were not Ebay phone numbers. When I called those numbers, they answered Ebay, though. What a bunch liars and cheats

Ebay is, the company itself and not most of the sellers and buyers who use it. This is info on my credit card charge that came with charge they tried to steal.

Before this, I never checked invoices and sellers fees. When I started to distrust Ebay and checked them, I found that they charged me seller fees

for items that were returned anyway. I had to call to get the seller fees removed from invoice several times. They said I missed cancelling the item

which is what was needed to remove it on the invoice, but this is a convoluted way they get to keep seller fees for returned items. They have made

milliions of extra fraudulent dollars doing this. I read a few other complaints about this practice. I wonder what other tricks they have up their sleeves.

Removed all items from Ebay to sell them instead on amazon because I can't trust Ebay to have sellers backs. They always take the customer side

when customer sends back item they damaged or purchase a picku-up item they want shipped--their mistake. Check all your invoices and Ebay charges.

The obese woman who bought a normal sized bracelet and could not get it over her hand received duplicate refunds due to Ebay error and then Ebay

tried to sneak that duplicate refund as a charge on my card by labeling it "Vehicle Services" isntead of "Buyer protections" my credit card company told me.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD by Ebay company systematically applied to all Ebay sellers.

Finally, sales have dropped dramatically in the past year or two due to Chinese sellers flooding the site on Ebay getting listing priority underselling US

sellers. A US item might not show up at all on a buyer's search list causing no views for many items, and many think it is a new search algorythm Ebay

uses to favor big Chinese sellers who bring in much profit over one-item USA sellers.
