Ecliptixnet Broadband Qualifies as THE WORST ISP in the Nation Medical Lake, Washington
Ecliptixnet Broadband advertises itself as "Bringing the LightOf Wireless Broadband To Shadowed Communities". Good luck with that. Over the course of the day, you'd be fortunate if you could get fast speeds for an hour or two.
Mostly, you get nothing but less-than-dial-up if that. Your internet experience will be frustration as your connection will freeze, or reset, or trickle in. And if you need to upload anything...ha! Sending e-mail is near impossible except during that infrequent time during the day when (at last!) speeds are okay. These problems have been going on for YEARS!!!!
Remember, I am talking about one or two hours a day of good QOS. The rest of the day is the equivelent of internet by smoke signal.
Honestly, satellite is more reliable than this company. Alas, there is no satillte company that installs in this area due to "oversaturation" as they say.
Calls to Ecliptixnet for service are often unreturned. If you are lucky to get a response, they tell you that they will fix the problem in a few months. And a few months more. And a few months more. In the mean time, nothing happens.
What really is horrible is that these people got a US Government grant for more than half a million dollars to put in this network. Yes, your tax dollars at work.
To give you an example: it took me half an hour to file this report because the pages were so slow loading.
