Ed and Moose ripped me off for $3,500 for a loan mod, leading me to believe I would get a principle reduction San Diego, California
Sent mass mailings out, that look official.
Told me I qualified for a reduction in principal, leading me to believe I would get a reduction of aprox. $375K, since I am $400K upside down.
I paid 3,500 up front, back in Feb. 2009 and nothing has happened, except I continue to send update financial info. They just give your info to a law center they do business with, after they take there cut of the $3,500. He wouldn't tell me (ED) how much his company took of the $3,500 fee...
After contacting the BBB, the law center has begun working on my case, not having received half my info. The law center told me straight out, they weren't even going to try for a principal reduction, only a modification because no one was giving principal reductions..
Don't go near that company, or anyone else, who wants money up front. A rip off!
