Edp Reporting scam artists ripoff Valley Village California
My name is nicole and upon viewing my bank account today I found a charge of 159.95 to my account. I immediately called my bank who stated that monterey bank in california withdrew the funds . I then went into my local branch and disputed the charge as fraud. I in turn contacted monterey bank in regards to the charge and was referred to phone #800-430-0672 which is known as edp reporting.
Upon calling this phone number. I received no response. I then decided to complete some internet research on this company and found they are nothing but scam artists. Later in the day I finally got in touch with someone at this company and was asked for my ssn# my banking information my name and other personal information. This is after I explained the charge was fraud. I refused to give said info to mrs rodriguez at ext 102 and was told that unless I was calling to confirm my information or speak about my activated card dont call back.
Explained did not have an activated card she then hung up. This card was supposedly billed to my bank under my maiden name which has not been for quite sometime and applied for via the internet. I am in turn filing a police report against this fraudulent company and would like to be included in any and all actions taken against them.
