Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In late summer of 2004 This company, Ekizian Flooring/Carpets, actually stole 100 square feet of laminated flooring from my home while installing my floors.

Installation workers were observed placing boxes of flooring valued at approx. $750 into the work van and then trying to tell us that they didn't have enough material to finish the job. (they planned on coming up with some for a fee) When Challenged to open the van and after boxes they denied they had were observed, story changed to that they were doing another job with exact same flooring material on the exact same day.

The owner, Frederick Landrigan, was summoned to my home, he never confronted workers about this theft, merely tried to browbeat and intimidate my wife into beleiving he would "slap a lien on my home!!" Incredible amount of balls. His workers steal from me and then he attempts to badger my wife and denies that they were stealing the flooring.

This man could not even say where this next supposed job was when I challenged him to produce a name and phone number to confirm his rediculous claim. Do not do business with this thief. I have been told he has been sued numerous times since taking this business over several years ago. Complete liar and thief!!!!!

#2Consumer Suggestion

Mon, December 12, 2005

Martin and anyone else getting their floor done: I own a flooring company in Colorado. Here's a suggestion. Measure your floor first. Chances are you will NOT get to correct SF for installation, there are cuts and waste. Straight laid floor will be 5 - 7 percent. Patterned will be 10 - 15 percent for waste and cuts. By measuring your own floor and getting a couple of estimates you should at least have a good SF estimate. Verify your measured floor vs. what you paid for. Product ALWAYS has SF or SY on the labels. Rare though it does happen, they can be wrong. But these labels, cuts, & measurements are computer driven to the hundreth's or thousandth's. Protect yourself and use some common sense people.
