Eldorado Resorts Corporation - The Grandview At Las Vegas Misrepresentation High Pressure Cowards ripoff Ft Lauderdale Florida
I go to Las Vegas each year and stay a week of two, so I wanted to look into a timeshare there. I was talked into going to a sales meeting at The Grandview at Las Vegas, an Eldorado Resorts Corporation propety.
I talked to the salesperson for several hours and made sure that I asked all the right questions. The salesperson and a sales manager told me everything that I wanted to hear, problem was they were not telling me the truth. I was told that I was purchasing two weeks and four bonus weeks. The two weeks I could bank with RCI and use when I wanted them. The four bonus weeks I could use like normal weeks, but they would not cary over to the next year. Use them or loose them.
Several months later I called RCI to book my vacation and bank my remaining weeks. I then found out that I only had ONE week, not the two weeks that I was promised and that the bonus weeks were basicly worthless. I can only bank the bonus weeks 45 days prior to travle which means I can never get a good place or a good time of year.
I cannot get anyone that is associated with Eldorado, including the sales person or salesmanager to call me back. They are all cowards and know that what they are doing is wrong. I hope people read this report and stop doing business with them. If you sign anything with their company the day they are trying to sell to you, your crazy. Take it home, read it, have someone read it and if it is a good deal and they are a good company, they will still honor the offer a few days later.

Sorry to hear you had misunderstanding. I am a x employee of The Grandview at Las Vegas and will return to work soon. No one is talked into going to the presentation, you receive gifts to attend like show tickets, dinners, gaming vouchers and other fine gifts and transportation to and from the resort. Sometimes this happens, that with all the offers presented; the customer gets confused on what they are getting. Sounds like you thought you was getting a two bedroom, but I will bet you only paid for a one bedroom. I am sure you did not pay for a two bedroom and receive one. "right" If you want 2 weeks you can go to the resort the next time you are in town and they will upgrade you. Any moneys already paid they will apply to the upgrade. The bonus weeks that you received are not worthless. You just pay the exchange fee that is less the $200 for a week in a resort that people use all the time. Yes you have to book 45 days or less. Try calling RCI and tell them what area you would like to visit, they will tell you what is available book it and go. Great for a extra get away even for a few days "it is a bargain". Why someone did not return your call I would not guess, maybe the do not work there anymore. If a agent or manager lies to customer and get caught, they get canned. The company does not tolerate that kind of tactics. They do around a million dollars daily business and do not need to deceive people and risk loosing there business license through the Real Estate Division. Let me explain and you can find out for yourself. The company has to file a business plan with the Real Estate Div. Such as the cost of the weeks and incentives. That is not a used car lot that you attended, everyone pays the same and if you leave and come back they can not give you the incentives or they will be breaking the law. In fact Timeshare companies have been fine $300,000 for doing just that. To sum this up Timeshare in Las Vegas is highly regulate through the Real Estate Div. in fact all agents must be license through them and pass a FBI background check that I have to do again because I was sick and my license has expired.
