ELORDADO RESORTS BREAKERS OF FT LAURDERDALE , FLORDIA RIP OFF Las Vegas, Nevada
My husband and I went our first vacation together in a long time to celebrate his retirement. We were meet in the lobby of our hotel (before we even had a chance to check in) about free dinner tickets.
Well our dinner tickets cost us over 4000.00. We were the lucky ones from what I have seen on the Rip off reports being posted about this company. We now own a condimum in Ft Lauderdale that we cannot just go and stay in. We are stuck with taxes of 733.00 a year. And RCI timeshare wants us to pay another 134.00 for the next year.
They will promise you the moon and when you want to think about it they tell you it is a one time offer. They orginially wanted over 50,000.00 for the resort but when we said No they took us down stairs to talk to someone that just happen to have a property that was turned in and we could have it for the discounted price of 4041.00, I was praying that my husband would say No but he did not read my code to him. I kept telling them that it was his retirement money and I could not tell him what to do with it.
So now we have this timeshare we are never going to use and people want to charge me anywhere from 399.00 to 1000.00 to just list it for sale.If someone approches you wanting to GIVE you free dinners or show tickets ...... RUN do not walk away from them.
I too would love it if an attorney would start a class action suit against them on a consingnment charge.
