I received a call from a private number stating that I had some papers they were trying to serve me But 1st I need is it called the law firm Elton Davis with the case number to actually find out what it is. I call the 800 number given to me and the lady said that they were a law office in that they needed to put me on hold to run across to the law office to get my file.
She then got on the phone told me my social security number, my drivers license number, read details from my credit report, what credit cards I had my car just personal information she blurted out over the phone. I then asked her what was this for she told me she did not have to let me know so I did tell her that I did Google this company and that they had multiple reports on rip off.
That's when she got on the fence and I told her that I was going to transfer this information to a real attorney for harassment because there were using my personal information and actually would not tell me what the call was fo.r she got very rude started cussing and so I hung up. I'm guessing this is a debt collection agency that attempts to use scare tactics to get people to pay them but it is very fearful if they just have Access to your important information in are not using it correctly.
