If you get a phone from Embarq paying for their salaries and sending their kids to college, they repay you by selling your information.
Not long after getting a phone I have a bill collector calling every singe day 5 days a week and they won't stop. The bill collector did not just happen to look my number up. How would they have known to do that?
In addition they sell your physical address. I have lived here for 5 years and never got a single piece of mail. I did not even know my address, I had to look it up to give it to Embarq, now I am getting junk mail every day. They claim the do not sell address's bull!
If at all possible do not give these people your address.
