Emerge Mastercard, Aria, GetSmart ripoff, fraud consumer rip-off fraud ATLANTA Georgia
When GetSmart sent me a letter saying they were selling my account to Emerge I didnt think anything of it. I had prefect credit rating with them, never late always under my balance. To my surprise Emerge cut off my credit line despite my credit history with Getsmart and Aria. The same month they did that they charged me 89.00 annual fee and then charged me interest on that charge.
My original agreement was for 30 day interest free so I was confused. I tried calling them for weeks with no luck. So on saturday morning I was on hold for 2 and a half hours and when the NASTY customer service rep who talked me me like I was a piece of dirt said they would credit my account next month and to bad they cut off my credit line also say they would not credit the interest they charged me on the 89.00.
I have sent letters demanding this be taken off and still nothing. I have come to the conclussion unless everyone files a report with the Attorney Generals Office nothing will be done. So if your a victim of this rip off credit card company file a complaint with the Attorney General. Once they receive enough complaints something will be done! Remember the Attorney General has the ability to shut down any company.
