Emily Maura Boess sold me a 2008 Cadilliac STS, advertising 38k original miles, excellent condition, never been in a accident, air bags never deployed, with clear title and even used photos taken from the other web sites clearly showing another Cadilliac with full screen navigation. The Bill of Sale stated a three day buy back and warranty was transferrable fron Cadilliac's Power Train Warranty. All the above was a lie, see asked for a Cashier's Check then I drove the car around the block and returned to her address, parked the car, knocked on her door when she refused to answer. Next day I went to Chase Bank, placed Stop Payment on the Cashier's Check, left messages both written and via phone for her to get in touch with me.

In conclusion she some how cashed the Cashier's Check and when I learned of this, I returned to her address to get the Cadilliac. Next she accused me of harrassment and asked me to leave her residence. I called Phoenix Police, told the uniformed officer she refused to surrender the car. I was told that she has a right because the car is still in her name.

Emily Maura Boess has my sixteen thousand five hundred dollars and I think she will resale this Cadilliac. I have learned this 2008 Cadilliac has a salvage title, odometer that has been altered causing the True Mileage to be unknown, with major accident involving the right front, air bags missing and screen navigation not an option.

Buyer Beware she is still selling vehicles on Craig's List. I have spent three thousand dollars in legal fees to date and law enforcement inform me that this is a civil matter.

Emily Maura Boess uses her health issues to gain sympathy stating that she has cancer and even hangs a drainage bag on her side to further use her convincing nature to lure in her victims...

This report is slander against an individual

This original report was filed by Donald and Shelley Hall, of Phoenix, Arizona. If you found this report because you Googled "Emily Boess" (subject) you should know that Emily is an individual, not a car dealer or business. This report was filed by a couple that for reasons that are still a complete mystery decided to attempt to steal a used Cadillac from Emily (my daughter) in a private sale.

RipOff Report has no business whatsoever posting reports of this kind against individuals and the Halls' report is just a tissue of fabrications from start to finish. I'm not a "disinterested party" by any means (as Emily's mother) but watched this whole story unfold with absolute disbelief at the irrational - honestly, psychotic - way the Halls proceeded. The public record now clearly proves that they have lied from start to finish - yet this RipOff Report remains, with no means available for us to remove this nastiness from my daughter's life.

Donald and Shelly Hall lied to the Phoenix Police. They filed a false claim with their own insurance company that the car had been stolen. They committed perjury with their own bank. They showed up at a dealership where the Cadillac was being serviced and claimed to be Emily in an attempt to take the car. They placed a stop payment on their cashier's check by falsely claiming to Chase Bank that the original check had been lost. (It hadn't. It was in my possession and we found out about the stop when we went to the bank the next morning to deposit it.) They even forged my daughter's signature on a fake bill of sale that they submitted to the Maricopa Superior Court.

The bank has now taken action against the Halls. Their own insurance company has taken action against them. They filed and continued to press a civil suit against my daughter, filing multiple claims, changing their story again and again - most recently claiming that the car was damaged when in my daughter's possession and claiming $12,000 in damages. They sent my daughter innumerable threatening text messages, including threats against her disabled son and claiming connections with the "Mexican Mafia."

We have all of this on record.

Eventually their own attorney "fired" them, refusing to continue to represent them in their specious legal actions against my daughter (we think he discovered they had forged court documents). However, the RipOff Report remains a matter of public record, putting my daughter's personal information on line, and continuing to show up whenever my daughter's name is Googled for an employment reference or credit reference or other check of any kind. We have no recourse against RipOff Report.

You people who would even remotely consider buying any used car sight unseen on the internet need to seek professional help at once. Find a doctor who will write you a prescription for any medication which will increase your common sense immediately!!!

Everything in this report against me is a lie, except for the fact that I am a cancer survivor and was in the middle of treatment when this originally occoured. I am not a car dealer, just someone who in good faith sold a vehicle to a couple on craigslist. It was advertised as a salvage title, it clearly states on the title and carfax that it was a salvage title. This couple took the car, then immediately stopped payment on the bank check saying that it was lost. They basically tried to "legally" steal my car. When I was able to prove this to the bank and make good on the funds, this angered them and that is when and why they made this report. They are now claiming they did not now it was a salvage car. In what world can you purchase a $30,000 car for $16,000? They even accompanied me to have the car inspected and had ample time to test drive the car, which they did. I truly believe that they were trying to get away with stealing my car, and when they got caught, became very threatening, even going so far as to tell me they were heads of the Mexican Moffia? So here is the scoop, this website Ripoff Report will put in print anything about anyone and this has harmed me over the past year greatly. anyone that googles my name sees this as the very first thing about me. unfortunately for me I have a very unusual name, and I am now being forced to change my birthname because of this. It has caused me to lose prospective employment, finding a place to live, and numorous other problems. I am now afraid to even give someone my name, nowing that they can google me and see this. The biggest heartache they have caused and the real damage is that they put out into the world that I have cancer. This causes me pain everyday. Some of my family didnt even know about my diagnosis until they read it on this report. How sick is that? This is my plead, because I have begged the owner of this website to take this report down to no avail. I am pleading with any attorney out there to help me. I will spend my last dime on making sure my name is cleared and these people are punished for damages. All you have in life is your name and reputation. Please help me get that back.
