Elizabeth Hart aka Dena Lamkin runs the popular Facebook page Emma Cleft Palate Chihuahua (close to 80,000 followers). She has had special needs, sick, disabled dogs for years that she raises money for through youcaring.com which collects through PayPal
Ms Harts organization is not a 501c non profit. Ms Hart does not post who does the veterinary care of the animals, nor does she post actual veterinary bills, just estimates. The amounts raised for any one animal can be at minimum $7,000- $10,000 and maximum up to $20,000 for ONE animal.
Ms Hart is actually Dena Lamkin from Oklahoma. She lives currently in the fort worth area. She has raised funds for dogs she never was actually going to get in her care. No one knows her physical address and how many dogs she may have in her care.
Given that no ones knows where this woman is, who the veterinarian is that does the procedures, and where funds are actually going, to dogs or her own care, this woman and her organization are a rip off. The funding needed for what she claims is the animals is excessive.
