 I have the same complaint as the majority of other complaints about company. My Doctor gave me a prescription for this TENS and had an EMPI agent meet me at the doctors office. I was hesitant in taking any equipment because of co-pays, and made it known to EMPI representative. She reassured me that I wouldn't have any issue in returning equipment and would know in about a week if there was any co-pays. I received a call from EMPI representative about a week later saying my insurance was going to fully cover TENS unit. 2 weeks after I initially receive TENS unit I recieve a bill. I called company about bill, and was told there is a co-pay that needed to be paid. Representative told me I had only 10 days to return unit, and when I told them I would send it back she told me it would cost more in rentals fees to send back then it would to keep it. So, now I'm stuck with an overpriced TENS unit.
