I will not use them again. I was forced to take this company by the broker I used to book my order. In fact I got a quote thru 5 star and since they were not sticking to a price and was higher, I went with "Empire moving services" a broker company. They inturn finally gave my order to 5 star and then started all the problems.
They did not have enough information from Empire whom I gave the order to. They came and said that you are 75 feet away and I was not there and my wife was there. so they used that as advantage and did not measure and show my wife 75 feet and charged $75 extra for that. If you house/apt was nearer they will park the truck further away and say they cannot come nearer.. Also then Empire had promised me for not charging fuel surcharge and they charged for that.
And my contact only was Empire and I was not in pick up location. so they finally charged me for $50 more and so finally they charged me almost 175$ more than i got a quote for. Empire was not doing anything and when 5 star was coming to pick up they did not have the payment information from Empire(I had already authorised thru credit card) and finally went back saying we were creating problems..
I will not and never go with Empire or 5 Star moving again. They will somehow suck more money and get you irritated over this whole process. The greater problem is with Empire. they get the order and thats it...!
