In early March of 2016, we had Empire Today contractors come into our home to install carpet.  Two genteman of hispanic descent showed up to do the work, niether of whom could speak english very well, so my wife had trouble communicating with them. The more senior of the two was also rude and pushy.

After the contractors high-tailed it out of our home after the job, my wife detected damages to our bathroom door jamm and moulding - where the the contractors had forced in furniture, and also to our dining room table, where one of the legs was torn off. It was obvious that the contractors moved the table without lifting it off the ground, so the legs caught on the original carpet thereby ripping the screws from the wood. That same evening, my daughter walked into the hallway where the new carpet was installed, and cut her foot open on an exposed nail. The contractors had failed to make sure the nails they used were below the surface.

It has been almost 3 months since the damgages were caused. Since then, I've been on with Empire Today (Boston Office) at least a dozen times (customer service).  Per their request, I had contractors come to our home to look at the damage and provide quotes for repair.  I sent in those quotes (also requested by Empire) and have heard nothing back.  No resolution.  When I call, there is never a customer service agent available.. It's maddening, and I'm beyond frustrated.

Damaged bathroom, damaged table, caused my daughter injury (twice)... UNACCEPTABLE!
