Complaint Review: Encante Skin Serum & Eye Cream - Internet

I replied to a free trial offer (just had to pay shipping charges) from Encante Skin Serum & Eye Cream. Then a month later NOT ONLY did I pay those initial shipping charges but 2 HIGH charges appeared on my VISA account (as in $98.71 and $99.01).  That is basically $200 for these so called “Free” trial items.  That by the way were “full sized items” when they arrived and not a “trial size” item as I expected to receive.  I called the company when I saw the charges on my Visa and was advised that since I didn't cancel this "subscription" within the 14 day “Trial Period” I would be charged this amount EVERY MONTH since I had now JOINED a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION to these products.  I was never advised of this when I accepted the “Free Trial Offer” via the internet and could not find that on any “Terms” etc. on my Internet offer but they told me that it was there.  I was never shown this no matter what they said because I read everything thing like this very carefully and would NOT have joined a club with something that had a costly product that was $200 per month PERIOD!!. I never received ANY RECEIPT for this that showed that I had joined ANY CLUB or SUBSCRIPTION etc. and that I would be charged monthly so if I had not caught this on my Visa and CALLED THEM I would not have known until it showed up again and they told me they could not do anything about the products that had already shipped. Also by this time a second shipment was on its’ way to me : (  but they made me an offer of a 40% discount on the products going forward if I would continue to try them and I kept saying that was just too expensive and I had no idea I had joined a monthly subscription etc.  So they said they would give me a 50% discount and free shipping also if I would continue. Since I had already paid $200 for the products I had and more were on the way and I could not send them back they told me I decided to say ok I would accept the 50% discount and try the products and see if they worked for me at all.  I figured if they worked at least going forward I would get them at a reasonable price even though they had ripped me off initially and been very underhanded in their marketing practices.  Well after trying both products TOGETHER as the testimonials say you MUST do for results…..the products do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ME….NOT EVEN MOISTURIZE MY FACE.  To say the least I am VASTLY disappointed!!  So there is ABSOLUTELY NO GUARANTEE ON THIS PRODUCT because I then called up customer service at 866-277-6352 for this product or should I say products since they are under SEPARATE COMPANY NAMES, and told them of my LACK of ANY RESULTS and that I wanted to CANCEL my account etc. and they AGAIN tried to give me the discount THAT I ALREADY supposedly had, the same routine they went thru the first time I called.  I said NO and they did NOT OFFER TO REFUND any of my money because the product did not give me any results but they did say they were cancelling my account.  We will see about that…..I am watching my Visa to be sure they do NOT continue to charge it next month.  I agree with the other people on this forum that have stated that this product and this company are a real rip-off!!  STAY AWAY!!! Or you will lose a LOT of your money!!  They go by the names of Encante Skin Serum and Bouchar Eye Cream when you see the invoices and charges on your Visa.  Also they are based out of Utah and the zip appears to be  84005-0000.
