I had two areas - one to be shipped to Cali and one to go to the Veterans Center to help set up housing!! I said "wait, I have a quote which says....Owen talked right over me and said "forget the quote". I said "it is a legal document" Owen said "no it isn't"!! Note I actually had FEWER items than on the quote - BUT HE CHARGED ME $600 MORE. It is a SCAM!! Owen was rude, scary and disrespectful. As one other complaintant stated the choices were to tell him take everything off the truck (my first instinct) or let them take your shipment. What swayed me was that I had checked out this company "Enterprise Relocation Services" and they got good ratings. What I later realized was that Owen and his team must be sub contractors. Once I started dealing with him and he started cheating me I dug deeper and found many, many, many complaints about this and all about the same person with the very same results, every time. I should have went with my gut, because I STILL DON'T HAVE MY FURNITURE. 6 WEEKS IN CALIFORNIA AND NO END IN SIGHT. So I paid my 60% that day, which SHOULD HAVE BEEN $942 and ended up being more than the actual total bid $1560 - I had to RUN to the bank to put more $$ in. IF I ACTUALLY EVER GET MY FURNITURE I KNOW THEY WILL TRY TO TACK ON ADD'L UNFAIR CHARGES - which i WILL NOT PAY. Now, on to delivery. After waiting, I starting texting Owen (I wanted a WRITTEN TRAIL) - HE TRIED CALLING but would not leave a message. I texted him and told him LEAVE A VOICE MAIL, EMAIL OR TEXT MESSAGE ONLY. I had to send three to four messages a day and he would NOT respond - IMPORTANT NOTE - OWEN'S PHONE NUMBER IS 770-630-4313. I wanted to know where my furniture and items where. NO ANSWER. So I looked up Enterprise Relocation Services on the internet and left them a chat/email message. The VERY NEXT MORNING I received a very angry phone call from Owen telling me I should ONLY contact him directly at his phone number. So, two weeks go by, again, no delivery - I start texting again, calling, no reply. I finally sent a text with a deadline stating I wanted a response in WRITING or would contact the company - guess what - instant response. This is what i got 9-9-16 "we have a carrier for your load. He says he will deliver second half of next week". Note that I specifically asked Owen, what company delivers my items - he said "our company". After this text I ask Owen which company and please give me the phone number, no response! OK, so we go into the next week - its Wednesday, 9-14-16 - no carrier call - no Owen call NO FURNITURE. Here I go again, texting and calling Owen. Again, after several texts and calls I had to be very firm and give him a time line for response! On 9-16-16 I receive this "Hi. we are waiting for our carrier truck, which is a few days behind, to pick up your belongings from our storage. They have made an appointment to load from our warehouse tomorrow. Once it is loading to you I will give you a window of delivery as advised by the driver. If you have any questions then please give me a call".PLEASE NOTE IT IS NOW THURSDAY AFTERNOON, SEPTEMBER 22, 2016 - YOU GUESSED IT - no call from OWEN, NO FURNITURE. Now, my Owens text they loaded the truck Saturday 9-17-16, obviously my load wasn't the only one - but even if they stopped in every state from Georgia and Northern California they should be HERE BY NOW or have CALLED ME. I drove from Ohio to NorCal in 2 1/2 days and I stopped at a hotel. **One other thing I've been worried about is something Owen keeps saying when we talk - "if the semi can't get in with will cost you $.....(can't remember amount) as we will need to transfer furniture to smaller truck" and "if its more than 75 steps it will cost you $$$". HERE IS THE THING - a semi CAN get into my condo complex - but they can always find reasons, right? I counted the steps 39 - I'm first floor - but again they can find a way to park down the street. I will NOT pay them one penny over the additional 40% of the inflated new charge which is $640. But here I am, arguing with myself. Because this is THE LAST STRAW. We can all find ways to cope - and I have. I was smart enough to fill my car with my important stuff, memories, work equipment, etc. I ordered a new mattress, so I have a bed. I work from home so I had to go to a thrift shop and buy a kids desk to work on since mine seems to be lost forever. But I have no couch, chair, footrest, tables, TV, (kinda liking that), lights, decorations, POTS, PANS, DISHES, SILVER WEAR. I'm a strong person, but it is very, very upsetting. This is an exciting new journey for me, and I have to send countless, pushy emails just to find out where my furniture is - which as you can see is ALL FICTIONAL. I can't settle! And to be very honest, for a girl who is not afraid of much, Owen scares me. He is not a nice person. I NOT GOING TO ASK HIM AGAIN "HEY, you told me you would tell me where my stuff is - the driver would call - AGAIN its the end of the week". because all I will get is more lies. I'm done. I'm going to push for a REFUND OF MY MONEY, a settlement of my property. If this means I go longer without, it will be work it. NO COMPANY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PUT ANYONE THROUGH THIS. Pain and suffering is very real. They made a bid on my move KNOWING they would NOT complete if for $1540, they knew their own truck would not come out to NorCal. Someone has to stand up to these unethical bullies.please see my tite whic has all the information.  thank you.
