Ephone ripoff Herdon Virginia
I recieved a phone call,person asking me if I was interested in a health plan. This conversation was going to be recorded. I recieve a bochure in the mail and I had 7 days to look at it. I recieved it on a saturday and I look at it Monday. I called to cancel it. My 7 days was already gone. I was able to cancel the plan. I had to send it back. It still was taken out of my checking account. so I called them back they asured me I would be reinburst.
A week later I had 54.90 taken out of my accont. So I called my bank they gave me the name ephone and phone # so I called to see how I got it. The lady was pleasant and said I agreed to a contact. I said I already have ATT why do I need this. she said she could play a tape so I listen to it.
I heard me say yes to a number of things but I also recalled being distracted by a commontion in the other room. I told the person that I canceld the plan and didn't even know about ephone and I wanted to cancel she said I would bevforfieting the money so I should go ahead and use the long distance for the month. Then I could cancel. I used it on about 3 or 4 calls and then it was tenperaryly out of servise.
So I called to cancel I would have an 8 minute wait. I thought I try their e-mail and I found this site. So I hope people will see this and not fall into the deep never ending ordeal. So I JUST say I'm not interested and hang up.
