I joined Local Dating Action in late 2007. Memebership charges were routinely levied monthly, and there were no problems. Then in January came an avalanche of charges. I communicated with the group in mid -February over repeated, outrageous charges being levied on my credit card by them via two agencies- CS8WEB.NET and EPOCH.COM. It was patently clear from the charges and the dates associated with them that the claims for alleged services were fraudulant. I challenged Local Dating over their legitmacy, and they agreed to refund charges for services not delivered ( for God's sake!!), and that that would be the end of it. My membership would be cancelled with no further charges being levied before I left
Not so - I have just received my latest card ststement: I got the refunds for CS8WEB.NET charges on the January bill, but not for EPOCH.COM charges!!!! Not only that , but now I also discover that new charges were levied AFTER the discontinuance agreement in February.
Specifically:
on 25/02/08 by EPOCH.COM *HILLSARTCO 3106645810 ( never heard of them) - references 24110398055/54 for $47.29;
on 26/02/08 by WCBILLING.COM 1866-499-9191 - reference 74580458056 for USD4.99
On 27 /02/08 by WCBILLING.COM 1866-499-9191 reference 74580458057 for USD39.98
0n 6/03/06 by EPOCH.COM *WEBSTARMAR 3106645810 ( never heard of them) - reference 24110398065 for $47.04
