Due to the Nafta Law Embarq by law has to allow third partys to charge on their bill. You get these charges by filling out surveys online, or simply clicking on a 'pop up'. Unknown to most, you are agreeing to take their service by simply clicking. You can call the third party company and get specific details like who authorized the charge. Tell them to cancel the service and demand a refund. Your better off paying the Embarq bill in full, because any credits issued back will take 2-3 mos, and if you keep deducting it from the bill it shows as 'previous balance' on the bill and can cause late fees. I know this is frustrating, but try to pay attention on who is using the computer and what they click.
