My grandmother ordered a wig from Especially Yours Wigs on 11 Jul 13 for $39.99 but totaled almost $53.00- my grandmother sent a money order for $54.00. The product arrived nearly six weeks later on 30 Aug 13 and to her disappoint the wig needed to be returned. The item was received and a refund was ,"allegedly," issued on 18 Sep 13. I have called over six times on my grandmother's behalf who is retired, 78 years old and on a fixed income. I have never experienced this level of deceit, unprofessionalism and deceptive practice. First, I was informed the refund would be $32.99 because a check for $4.35 was mailed and received and to date no representative has been able to explain this refund amount: the refund should be $39.00 which is the cost of the wig prior to taxes and delivery. Secondly, all six representatives have said that it takes 21-30 days to receive a refund ( I know the post offices can be a challenge- but 30 days)!! Thirdly, after the month and three weeks passed - thevlast representative explained a new and revised policy.. on 13 Nov 13..the professional con artist said, " it takes a month for the refund check to be written, then it goes to a division where checks go for approval which takes another two weeks then it takes up to thirty days to receive the check from the post office." Unbelievable! Finally, the representative said , " if your gradmother does not receive the refund by Friday let us know." Friday, Nov 15, 2013 will make two months my grandmother has been waiting! Please avoid Epecially Yours; their policies are beyond questionable. This company preys on innocent and trusting consumers. I have bought my granny several wigs to assist in looking pretty and confident since her beautiful tresses have been long gone. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!!!
