*Fast foward six months Ethan Allen still has my lamp and never refunded me for the defective lamp , the reason they claim not to refund me is they are saying that I caused the faulty wiring and that is just insane , I am beyond frustrated at this point I hope to sue the pants out of them for robbing me of my $1000 dollars for the defective lamp then turn around and blame it on me*
I would like to receive my $1000 dollars I paid for the lamp any nothing else more ,this is a very dangerous lamp , I had a licensed electrician look at it and he determined that the wiring was cheaply made and too thin for a crystal lamp .Ethan allen offered to re wire the lamp and of course I declined that offer being my son was electrocuted and now traumatized by the lamp and that my sofa was on fire as well as my wall blew out , I would like Ethan Allen to know that I will go to seek legal help if I have to in order to resolve this matter if they fail to refund me.

The property damage and your son’s injury are due to your negligent use of an appliance that you knew had defective wiring.
Ethan Allen’s offer to repair the lamp is reasonable. Accept their offer and move on.
