ETOURANDTRAVEL stated October 8,2008, that i had previously put a deposit on a trip with them in 2002, of $398.00. Being a grandma with little resources, i asked that the company return the money, so i could use it to buy groceries. rip off company. Florida Internet
ETOURANDTRAVEL MADE AN OFFER TO ME TO GIVE THEM ANOTHER $98.00 to REINSTATE THEIR TOUR PLAN. WHAT UPSETS ME IS THEY CLAIM THAT I HAD PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN OF $398.00 IN 2002 ON A CREDIT CARD. I ASKED IF THEY REIMBURSE ME THAT MONEY BECAUSE I NEED IT SO. THEY WOULD HARDLY GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION SO I COULD EXPLAIN MY SITUATION.
I AM A 68 YEAR OLD GRANDMA WITH NO FINANCIAL FUTURE AND I COULD REALLY USE THAT MONEY BACK. WHAT KIND OF SCOUNDRELS ARE THESE PEOPLE? I ONLY WISH I COULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

The terms and conditions of the vacation package are only one page long and each vacation is issued with a 15 day review period. You have 15 days from the purchase to call and cancel with our company. This is just the same as any other purchase, despite the cost, you cannot expect get money back for something that not only was purchased past the refund period but has also expired. Vacations from our company, unless otherwise stated, last with 12 months to book dates and 18 months to travel. I feel for you needing the money but we are not a scam simply because you didn't use your vacation and years later now that we would like to honor a credit, expect your money back. When we contact you to offer the reactivation all your paying is the reservation fee's for Orlando, Daytona, and the s&h for your package we just want to see you travel on this if you can. Sorry you couldn't use the vacation. We are not scoundrals. I am a college student trying to sell vacations to people who paid for one, let it expire, and would like to come to FL in the next two years. It makes it a lot more difficult with people posting scam notices because of their own mistakes and trying to feel better by placing the blame falsely on us.
