I would like to first ask that you check the last four numbers to verify that it was your card. If it was then yes you did buy it. I have been with Etourandtravel (the www. is just the beginning of the website) for two years and we have two campaigns(lists) that we call: previous customers who did or did not use their vacation and people who requested theme park tickets to universal online and have not purchased with us. If we just wanted to get your money we have your card number, the representative calling you only has the last four but a manager could look it up. We just want you to take the vacation. $25 is usually the extension fee if you have an active package but if you were reactivating an account that has expired it costs $99. The person calling you only wants to talk to you if you want your vacation because we get commission and not everyone is rude about it but judging by your comments below I imagine you were not the most pleasant person on the phone either and instead of taking verbal abuse I usually just click a little button that says hang up followed by the disposition of Do Not Call. No one is maliciously redialing you number. The next time someone calls, you don't have to talk to a manager just ask to be put on the Do Not Call list and have them verify your number. No one wants to steal your identity, we're just trying to get commission. we are not a scam simply because you didn't use your vacation and years later now that we would like to honor a credit, you've forgotten about it. I hope this provided a little insight.
