So, I get this call tonight from some guy who sounds like he's calling from his cell phone at a party. He tells me that I won 2 tickets to Universal studios, and a 4 day 3 night vacation package in Florida. He gives me this site www.evacationflorida.com and then proceeds to tell me that I would be put up in the Sheraton for these 4 days and 3 nights and get two tickets to universal studios as well as another 3 days in Daytona, and 2 days in some other ocean front property. Then he tells me I can get it all for only 99.99 and that it would cover a weeks rental of a car from Enterprise with unlimited mileage. So I go and look up the site he sent me to and at the top of the list was about 25 different sites all claiming these guys were scammers and rip-offs..
After listening to this guy's pitch, informing him that I wasn't interested, and then explaining to him that I don't give my credit card out on the phone, he asked me when he mentioned a credit card. I Informed him of my search results and his rebuttal was "Well, anyone can say anything about anyone on the internet. I'm sure there are people out there Saying bad things about Walmart!" He asked me if I was going to trust what "someone said" on the internet. I informed him that, after reading the basically same things over and over again from 12 different sources, citing phone number they were calling from (his was one of them) and basically everyone trying to warn others about them. Hell yes. He thanked me for losing out and hung up.. In this case, I'm fairly sure he was the loser.

It's not that Universal Studios isn't affiliated with them, it's that Universal HAS to say they're not affiliated because otherwise EVERYONE is going to be looking for etourandtravel for discount vacations. etour only contacts specific consumers, that's why there's no advertisements and no commercials for them. It's called an insider deal.
