Today I received a telephone call from "Disney" and was told that I had been selected to receive two free tickets to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Good for twelve months from today. All I had to do was go to www.evacationflorida.com and type in the code I was given. I would then print out the tickets and be merrily on my way. I tried several times to reach the URL I was given but it was kicked back to me several times. I never did get to it nor did I type in the code number. By then I figured it was a scam.

I came across Ripoff Report while searching for a better address for said website. I clicked onto your addy and read about someone else who had been "scammed" by the same outfit. So, I thought I should let you know what happened to me today. I didn't even sign up for the tickets originally. I was taking a survey and it was taking so long that I left it without completing it.

A few minutes later I got the phone call from "Disney". When I told the caller that I hadn't even seen the name Disney on that survey she said that she was with a company that was "associated" with Disney. So, that's my story.

I guess since I live in Lutz, Florida my area doesn't qualify, either, since I could drive to Orlando.

Yesterday I sent a report inre www.evacationflorida.com and said that I could not get to the website to print out the two tickets that I was told I had been selected to receive. I never did get to it. This morning when I was checking my new e-mail, I read one that was sent after 10:00 p.m. last night. It was from ETourandTravel, Inc. and had my confirmation code number and URL www.eVacationFlorida.com. This is a slightly different version of the URL. The caller I spoke to yesterday had told me to use all small letters. The one I received in the e-mail has two upper case letters. Maybe that makes a difference in accessing site, don't know. I went to the site and was able to print out a voucher for One ticket only, not Two as I had been told on the telephone. There is a requirement to attend a presentation inre vacation ownership. So, I don't think this company actually qualifies as a "ripoff" but if I read the voucher correctly it is for one ticket, not two unless the ticket is for two people. I have not called them, but I do not intend to go to Disney World alone and cannot really afford to buy one plus pay for the gasoline to drive to Orlando. I just thought that I should send this additional information on to you so the company is not falsely accused.
