Todd Dotson's Tactical Real Estate promised to work with me and my parents on investing in real estate in any market in the US.  They promised to work with us, "hold our hand" if they had to until we made our initial investment back of $10,000.  They were very eager to get us signed up.  Tried to pressure us to sign up on the spot in which we told them we would but did not commit financially.  They were very persistant and contacted us often until we were completely signed up, put money down and took the 3 day field training.  After the training, the mentor, Jay Hines did not respond to our phone calls or emails in a timely manner as we had questions that sellers were asking us and we had no idea how to handle.  We were given the contact information for another mentor from St. Louis (that was the market we were originally a part of) and her number was bad when we tried to call a few weeks later.  We expressed our concern with the lack of mentoring we were receiving and nothing was done.  I moved to Dallas and requested for a local mentor that was familiar with the Dallas market and nothing was done.  When we would send questions to our mentor he would reply back, "Refer to your training materials." I filed a complait with the BBB and they have been non- responsive.  Tactical Real Esatate is the company that provides the training and mentoring.  However, Enlightened Wealth Institute (EWI) is the financial company in which we were financing a portion of the training through.  Despite our attempts to resolve the issues with Tactical we stopped paying on the note as we were no longer receiving any sort of mentoring.  Since we stopped paying, Conrad Acceptance has put the balance on my credit.  EWI, I assume sold the note to Conrad as I have no recolection of dealing with Conrad during the registration.  Tactical will hype you up during their 1 day seminar and make you a ton of empty promises that they will not follow through on. They will be persistent during your registration process and disappear after they have payment.  They may respond but only after days or weeks and at that point you have probably lost the sale  I consider this a breech of contract as they are not upholding their end of the contract as why I stopped paying.  I will not pay another cent to Conrad, EWI or Tactical as they have completely lost my trust. I recommend NOT signing up with Tactical Real Estate as you will likely have the same thing done to you.  I signed up in 2010 and have yet to receive 1 inbound phone call from the mentor.  Since the mentorship has desolved I have done extensive research on Todd Dotson and Tactical Real Estate.  When we signed up the company was supposed to be located in Houston, TX.  Now they are based out of Arlington, TX.  Todd Dotson used to do business with Russ Whitney from The Whitney Group but they have been barred from doing business in the state of California due to bad business practices.  I would love for the same thing to happen to them in Texas!
