This lot have just rebranded themselves. Excel Servicing Ltd call you up mentioning Dyson. They don't actually claim to be Dyson but it makes the unwary believe they are associated with Dyson and are authorised by them. They offer a cut price vac service at £20 then when they arrive they change parts that don't need changing and replace them with copy parts. The cost then rockets and they convince you to sign up to a service plan on a direct debit. The machine is still under manufacturers warranty!!! They did this to an 85 year old.
Reading on this site the Scoffins and Green have a history of this sort of scam under the name of kb midlands lincoln. They have a registered office in Liverpool, a trading address in Leeds but the names lead back to Lincoln and Burton Road. It's time this lot were cleaned up for good.

I worked for excel servicing till a week ago. I only worked there 5 weeks and 2 of them was training. I was made to sell parts and service plans to customers one customer came to a total of nearly £170 after this was done having a supervisor with me I was then made to try sell a 83 year old woman a kirby. At the end she did take one I just couldn't believe what I was doing and watching this other guy do and say when she tried to cancel it that same supervisor went round and pressured her into keeping it. The company are praying on the old to push vacuums at a price of upto £2295 just to fund tom scoffin holiday habit as he goes away every month without fail to top it off when I left never got any of my wages and prizes I won for selling these kirby which my family took at a discounted rate. I am going to get my money back if it's the last thing I do.

I was employed by Tom Scoffin of Excel Servicing last year. I worked as a "Dyson Engineer" for a while from the Leeds office.
During my training I was encouraged to get as many parts onto machine as possible, even if they didn't need replacing. I was told time and time again that if I didn't push parts (All non genuine substandard) and maintenance plans I would not earn any wages.
All staff have to pay for their own fuel and van and are paid on a comission basis.
During my time there it became apparent that the business wasn't even about Dyson vacuums, it was all about trying to sell Kirby Cleaners! We were made to demonstrate the Kirby at least three times a day.
Do NOT let any member of Excel Servicing or KB Midlands into your home. You WILL be ripped off, even worse you will have to sit through a Kirby demo!
