On March 6th 2006 my vehicle arrived at the Exhibition Automotive Center in Kent, WA for repairs. I was then given an estimate of 6 to 8 days to complete repairs.

I Went to Exhibition Automotive On March 14th to see what the status of my vehicle was. I was told by Jeff Middleton (owner) that he was very near finishing my vehicle and that he would be done with it by the middle of the following week. I then asked to see my vehicle.

Upon viewing my vehicle it was evident that absolutely no attempt had been made to begin repairs. To the contrary actually, there was more damage to my vehicle then the last time I had seen it.

Jeff then assured me that he could finish the repairs by Friday and that he would contact me then.

Friday at approximately 4pm there still was no response from Jeff. I decided to go to his shop. Upon viewing my vehicle it was obvious that very little work had been done to my vehicle. Jeff then stated to come back in a couple of hours and that he would be completely done with my vehicle.

I did, and at that time I noticed that it would be physically impossible for repairs to be finished. I asked Mr. Middleton to just be frank and to please give me a new estimate that he could abide by.

Jeff then stated Monday morning. I returned Monday afternoon and of course the work on my vehicle still was not completed. I spoke to Mr. Middleton he advised me to return this morning, Wednesday, March 29, 2006, which I did.

Mr. Jeff Middleton looked me in the eye while in his office and told me that all that my vehicle was waiting on was the final alignment. I asked to view the vehicle. He hesitated and procrastinated in his office while I waited in the lobby before finally taking me to see my car.

Mr. Jeff Middleton became threatening, pointing his finger into my face, approximately 1/16th of an inch from it as a matter of fact, and began using profanity. I left immediately.

Upon viewing it was obvious that the fender had not been painted, the new tires had not been moved so that both were on the front of the auto and that he was lying again. He said the vehicle would be complete later that afternoon. Of course, it wasn't.

I finally was able to retrieve my vehicle at 4PM Thursday, March 30, 2006. Upon getting my vehicle, I video recorded additional damage that had been done to my car since viewing it on the 29th new scratches were put up and down the sides, a deep scratch in the trunk, the steering was loose and oil was seeping from under the car where there was no previous leak. The rearview mirror was attached upside down and taped together.

This is the best place to take a car for repairs.

I have had the unfortunate situation of needing my vehicle repaired 3 times this year.  (My car has too much horsepower for me!)  Over the years I have taken my vehicles to be repaired at Exhibition Automotive.  The service I receive each time is over the top gold star.  The quality of work is always done so well I can't ever tell that anything had ever been wrecked and repaired.  It just looks like new.  Immediately when I call there they handle all the headaches like talking with the insurance rep, handling revisions of additional work needed once they inspect the car.  I have never felt like a single corner was cut short or overlooked.
The work is professional and timely.  I would NOT go anywhere else.  I can pick any place to take my Saturn Sky but I would never let anyone touch my car except Exhibition Automotive.

Yes, as the customer describes, there were delays in our repairing his car. But when the towing co. brought it in, we told him that the work would take 2 3 weeks AFTER we started and we couldn't start UNTIL he and his insurance company gave us the go-ahead, we ordered parts, and the parts came in.

What he doesn't say is:

- He asked us to delay the work while he argued with his insurance company about how much they would cover and about whether they would also pay to have repaired the body scratches that he says occurred during towing.

- He had first taken his car to another car repair shop that refused to deal with him because of his angry manner and unrealistic expectations.

- When he became frustrated that the insurance company wouldn't cover as much as he wanted and that the tow truck scratch damage would be a separate claim, he came to our shop with a video camera, not only threatening us and taking video of his car, but also photographing other customers' vehicles. At that point we asked him to leave.

- He told us that he'd had trouble in the past getting his car repaired satisfactorily. (No wonder, not just because how beat-up his car was due to lack of maintenance, but more because of his confrontational and immature manner. He was very young, maybe still a teenager.)

What is patently untrue: - What he says about us promising the car would be ready in a few days -- what he says we said about when it would be ready. We were clear over and over that we needed OK from his insurance company and him before we started the work and then we needed the parts before we could begin work and that it would take 2 3 weeks AFTER that. He apparently got frustrated by the delays, by the fact that the insurance company wouldn't cover all he wanted like a new paint job, and chose to take it out on us by writing this highly inaccurate "review."
