EXPRESS CAMERAS . COM Jack at express camera bait and switch on a canon 100 2.8 lens to sigma 105 INFERIOR PRODUCT New Jersey New York
I Ordered a Canon Lens which was advertised on expresslens.com It was a 100 2.8 which was advertised at $379.00 with free ship! The company emailed me to confirm, I was Instructed to contact them at 1-800-772-0136 option#3 to confirm my order. When I called Jack answered and strong armed me with ~ It is not as good as the sigma PRO 105 2.8 and it is Brand New and Retails for $599.00 he would sell it to me instead for $459.00~When I questioned him he got angry and said do I think I know more than Him on Lenses?? He said he would sell it to me for $429.00 and charge the difference to my Credit Card. I did that as he was a VERY PUSHY HARD SELL!! I then did my research and found out from a Camera Store that Sigma only make one 105 lens and it is inferior to the Canon that I had ordered. I was told that I would never get this lens for the $379.00 price and this was a Bait and Switch Tactic!! The least that the Honest Company would do is $429.00
Well, I called them back to change the order~it took 3 calls~finally connected to Jack and, after an argument~ he said it was not processed and would remain as the original order.
Funny thing, within about 10 minutes I received an email from Express Cameras and they cancelled my order and said they could not deliver for 8 to 10 weeks. I called them and spoke to a so called supervisor, was told that I could report this if I wanted to as many others have tried. She said give them my Blessings and Good Luck!
Well This is my Report!! Put them out of Business before they Rip Off Someone Else!!
