Patrick Costadoni is back in business despite being fined by the FMC $900,000 and an injunction against him not allowing him to trade.
He is now ripping customers off under the guise of Express Cargo USA. Different company, same old scam. Quote for international shipping which is bait, pick customers goods up and then piles on extra fees which at least doubles the costs. Extorting more money from people once they have hold of your possessions.
Express Cargo USA is a scam. DO NOT SHIP WITH THEM

A friend in the shipping industry made me aware that my name was being besmirched on this website. The information listed in this report is completely erroneous as I do not hold any position with Express Cargo USA who is owned by Ami Steinfeld. The company and owner have an impeccable reputation in the shipping industry, are licensed by the Federal Maritime Commission as well as being accredited by the BBB. His personal information and company background can be found on the following link:

It appears this report was filed by a competitor I've worked with in the past who simply wants to lash out with circumstantial information in the hope of destroying my character in the industry. The owner of the company that filed this report was also part of the FMC's broad investigation of 12 companies in 2006 to determine whether our companies violated the Shipping Act by shipping goods overseas without being licensed to do so. We were all found guilty of multiple shipments and fines were assessed based on the number of shipments and not due to some level of culpability as the amount of the fine might imply in the headline. At the time, my former company was much larger than the other companies and as such, simply had more shipments throughout the course of the year than the others. The shipment could have been a single box or full container, but counted as a $25k fine per instance, hence the high value of the fine.

As for the ruling, I am not allowed to apply for an FMC license now or in the future. Neither am I allowed to be a partner, director or manager in a company that specializes in ocean freight transportation. Because I am fully aware of the ruling, I am determined not to violate it. I currently own Tribeca Business Consulting which specializes in training and operating an external sales force. We also specialize in providing customer service and collections efforts for a variety of industries including the transportation industry. While my former competitor has been on a campaign over the last 3 years to disparage my character, I have prevailed and enjoy an excellent relationship with all major shipping carriers in the ocean, air and surface transportation industries.

While this bitter competitor will continue his childish campaign of anonymously posting libelous remarks against me on the internet, I will continue building my excellent reputation throughout the current industries I'm involved in which includes transporation, software design and database management. Although I'll never be able to erase the blemish of 2006, I will continue to strive for the same business excellence my former and current careers have been defined by. Thank you for the opportunity to post this information.
